Hi!!

Thank you for asking to Google Answers!!

Here is what I consider the better pages regarding traveling to Hanoi:

The following site have valuable and practical info, it is not
originally oriented to tourism purposes but it includes such info and
more:
"Adoption Vietnam":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/index.htm

But do not start at the main page, the pages to see on this site are:
"Travel Tips for Vietnam":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/tips-fleener.htm

Then visit and navigate through the following one:
"Hanoi Vietnam (Ha Noi Viet Nam) Travel Guide":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/hanoi.htm

The following pages are not related to what you requested but I think
that they are a set of "must be read" pages:
"Vietnam Travel FAQ - 1":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/faq1.htm

"Vietnam Travel FAQ 2":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/faq2.htm

"Essential Information for Vietnam Travel":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/essentials.htm

"Health & Medical Information for Vietnam Travelers":
http://www.adoptvietnam.org/travel/health.htm

The following site have the info that you requested very well organized:
"Hanoi Travel Guide from ElephantGuide.com":
http://www.elephantguide.com/hanoi/hanoi.htm

For further details about Hanoi just select the appropiate link at
left left frame; for example:
"HANOI - OUT & ABOUT":
http://www.elephantguide.com/hanoi/hanoi_about_home.htm

"HANOI - AFTER HOURS -- Bars & Clubs":
http://www.elephantguide.com/hanoi/hanoi_bars_home.htm

"HANOI - DINING OUT -- Restaurants & Cafes":
http://www.elephantguide.com/hanoi/hanoi_dining_home.htm

For the last two above pages the same is valid, for further details
just select the appropiate link at left left frame. Note that the
above are not the only choices, you can (and probably must) go to
"SHOPS & GALLERIES", "TRAVEL AGENTS/AIRLINES", etc.

The next link is the most complete (imho) site to navigate for travel
information, Yahoo Travel Guide UK:
"Hanoi Travel Guides - Yahoo! Travel Guide UK":
http://uk.holidaysguide.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-7416-hanoi_travel_guide-i

Navigate this site and you will find almost places to visit and
interesting things to do, together a lot of additional valuable info,
see for example the following ones:
"Hanoi Attractions | Things to do in Hanoi - Yahoo! Travel Guide UK":
http://uk.holidaysguide.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-240115-hanoi_things_to_do-i

"Hanoi Restaurants | Hanoi Restaurants Guide - Yahoo! Travel Guide UK":
http://uk.holidaysguide.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-240112-hanoi_restaurants-i

There is another Yahoo! Travel site, the international one, but for me
the UK page is easier to navigate, but just in case here is the link:
"Hanoi Vacations & Tourism, Hanoi Hotels, Hanoi Attractions - Yahoo! Travel"
http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-191501673-hanoi_vacations-i

My last suggestion is wolrdtravels.com:
"Hanoi Travel Guide - Vietnam - Hanoi City Guide":
Use the left framed menu for Attractions, Excursions, Airports, The
Basics, Climate, Photos (this one is great!!) and more.
http://www.wordtravels.com/Cities/Vietnam/Hanoi

You can also read the Wikipedia article about Hanoi:
"Hanoi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanoi

If you want to see Hanoi maps visit the following pages:
"Hanoi map, Hanoi city travel and toursist map":
http://www.vietnamstay.com/map/hanoimap.htm

"Hanoi Map & Travel Guide - interactive map of Hanoi and area maps of
Hanoi, with locations of major tourist attractions and hotels":
http://www.hoteltravel.com/vietnam/hanoi/maps.htm

"Hanoi Map":
This one is zoomable and has locations for almost city attractions, etc.
http://www.vietnamtourism.com/e_pages/tourist/touristmaps/hanoi/map_e_hanoict.html

"Hanoi City Map and Guide - LivinginVietnam.com":
http://www.livinginvietnam.com/images/Hanoi_Map_Carte.htm

You will find a plethora of pages by using my search keywords, may be
you can find somethig good in a page that I discarded:
hanoi travel
hanoi guide
hanoi "travel guide"
hanoi map

I hope this helps you. Feel free to use the clarification feature if
you find something unclear and/or incomplete. I will be glad to give
you further assistance on this question if you need it.

Best regards and nice trip to Hanoi!!
