I have 4 sets of bank notes drawn on the baltimore & ohio railroad company dated may 1, 1940 and 41, they have a picture of a woman on the front, a big letter "S" and serial nos. Do they have any value or collectibility? Pat |

Greetings Pat, Your terminology is a little confusing. Technically, a "bank note" is issued by a bank and is a form of money. Some stock certificates of the B & O were printed by the American Bank Note Co., whose name would appear in small type at the bottom. If you could post a link to a website where you have loaded a picture of one, that would help greatly. If you can't do that, could you describe the items (one of them if they are all similar): dimensions, the first few lines of text, name and title of the person(s) who signed the item. Just a warning: the email notification system is not functioning. You will have to check yourself if anything posted to your question. Regards, Myoarin (This is just a free comment, not an "answer".) |
