The main factor is the weight. Is the boat moulded plastic or
fibreglass? Fibreglass is the heavier. Aluminium boats are lighter.
Timber are heaviest even more so than steel, but it is not often such
a relatively small boat is built in steel. A single axle trailer with
a single steel main bar and its side supports should be sufficient.

HI AGAIN. Plastic is even lighter than fibreglass. Just about any two
wheel trailer should do it. Some types are even foldable. If your
vehicle is a utility or light truck [ I have a Nissan Navara] cart it
around on that. I do with my own dinghies, and have no need of a
separatye trailer, saving cost and an extra road licence.
