Im trying to land an interview for a management job in a division of Walt Disney World in Orlando. The division is called Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online (WDPRO)and is in Orlando, FL. Its under the Disney Internet Group (DIG.com) Im trying to find someone inside WDPRO in a leadership position that I can contact via email. Ive found a couple of "high-ups" via Net research (Alan Johnson VP, Ted Jansen VP) and have emailed them but I believe they were TOO high up the ladder...received no acknowledgements. Ive sent my resume through WDW Recruiting already, so a recuiter's name would not suffice. |

I found this, dated 12/2000, which may (or may not) be useful. Good luck in your job search... Bill Wetherell Manager, Information Architecture GO.com --> Part of the Walt Disney Internet Group bill.wetherell@dig.com |

You might try mailing an actual typewritten letter with an original pen signature. Everyone these days gets inundated with hundreds of e-mails, and most job applicants are too lazy or busy to write real letters, so I would think that this might be one way where you could make yourself stand out. Of course, it probably wouldn't hurt to send an e-mail as well. Good Luck! |
