I need a new whole house airconditioner. My air conditioner man has
been told that the new R410A units are not significantly kinder to the
enviroment over R-22. He has been led to believe that it is another
example of the government going off in a miss-direction. (We
certianly have had some examples of missunderstood and miss used
science.) The environment is of primary importance to me and at the
same time it will cost us $1500 more (because of required
modifications to our house).

The one article I found by A D Little that supports this position,
seems to be written by an author with strong business ties. Can you
find me some solid, unbiased research?
