I am doing market research on the niche of mental fitness and
fighting/preventing mental aging and alzheimer's/dementia. I am
looking for answers to the
following questions.

1.	what is customers? biggest frustration?
2.	what is customers? biggest problem or challenge?
3.	what are the top ten stresses, fears, or causes of failure in this market?
4.	what specific, quantifiable, credible data backs up the validity of
these stresses, fears, or causes of failure (i.e. the proof as to why
they
should be afraid, worried or stressed?)
5.	when choosing a provider in this niche, what are the criteria used
for selection?
6.	what are the primary reasons a customer will seek out this type of
product or service?
7.	what are the top 3 results customers want to produce when they buy
in this niche?
8.	what is the average sales cycle in this niche i.e., time from
first contact to purchase?
9.	what is the average customer life span (how long they stay with
providers/services) in this niche?
10.	who are the top vendors/competitors in this niche?
11.	what are the main keywords (with stats) people use when looking
for products/services to:
	  a) boost mental fitness/cognition (this includes elements of
memory, creativity, concentration, learning more effectively)
b) prevent or deal with mild/early dementias including Alzheimer's
disease and general mental aging like mild cognitive impairment or
age-associated memory impairment
12. and finally, does there appear to be sufficient demand for a) and or b) above?

I'd like sources of info/data to be referenced. Thank you!

Hello lhenderson-ga,

I?ve done some preliminary research on your question and would like to
know what would constitute a satisfactory answer to your multi-part
question. I?m afraid it is unanswerable as posted. The type of detail
you?re looking for is simply not available. Also, some of your 12+
questions are not answerable because the market for alzheimer?s /
dementia prevention and/or treatment is simply not defined in the
same terms you?ve specified.

On the other hand, there is lots of information available about this
field. I suggest that you change the parameters of your question to
something more manageable. I suggest an overview of the field and the
market. This would include demographic information and whatever
statistics are available to help you size the market of products aimed
at this emerging field. I could identify the latest trends in
developing treatments and medications as well as the market for
support services.

Please let me know if what I?m proposing will meet your needs.
Alternately, I suggest that you close this question and instead post
several questions that ask for more focused and clearly defined
information about single topics.

It would be helpful to understand the context of your question and
what research you?ve completed on your own. The more you can tell us
about your project, the greater the likelihood that we can get you the
information you need.

I look forward to your clarification.
