Howdy All Years ago (If my memory serves me correctly) the BBC's motto was "Nation Shall Speak Peace unto Nation" Is this still their Motto ? If not why did they abandon it? And do they have a new Motto? Yours Truly DPRK007 | |

I agree with Rainbow. In an interview distributed by AFP in June 2006, BBC director-general Mark Thompson said, "We were set up in the 1920s as a set of domestic radio services but also there was this idea right from the start - our motto is 'Nation shall speak peace unto nation' - that we would have global potential.? http://www.smh.com.au/news/web/the-internet-is-our-future-bbc-chief/2006/06/12/1149964446497.html http://www.newswatch.in/?p=5027 answerfinder-ga |
