I am moving to illinois with a section 8 voucher from michigan I am
going to transfer from the section 8 office in jackson (mshda office)
mi to cicero (cicero Illinois housing authority)
Illinois I was told they conduct criminal background checks going back
5 years.. my question is this here in michigan I have been stopped 4
times for driving with suspended liscense ( i know already stupid..)
anyhow I currently have a warrant out for my arrest.. I want to move I
cant afford the payments at this time.. I have a higher paying job
awaiting me in Illinois which can finally get me out of near poverty
but will my warrants show up on their criminal background check make
me a denial? I dont want to transfer there and lose my section 8 I
want to keep this voucher till I get done with school at least? please
help me I am unsure what criminal background checks they use if my
michigan stuff will even show up.. or also because it is not a felony
it is a misdeameanor if it will even matter .. please help me I need to know

I need this answered.. Is it to complicated? I know that the cicero
housing authority will do a criminal background check going back 5
years and I have warrants out for traffic convictions will this make
me a denial for their section 8? ( i am already a section 8 receipent
in jackson michigan..) I dont want to transfer there and be assed
out.. my grant taken away then I would have to stay in michigan with
no grant please help me... I need help

the traffic violations are not felonys they are misdeameanors

they are misdeamanors yet I have warrants (driving with suspend license 3x)
