I'm looking for an article that was in WIRED magazine some years ago
about 2 USENET groups alt.jokes.? and a pet lovers forum. I remember
this was probably the funniest thing I had ever read and lost the
magazine and could not find it again. Anyone that might know and
possibly where I could get a reprint would be much appreciated.

I'm glad to have been able to identify your article. I'm an avid
reader of WIRED, and I remembered this one. Parts of it are kinda hard
to forget. ;-)
