We are running a successful website in which our customers subscribe
through the use of micropayments.
We currently have a lot of customers in Turkey who wish to pay for a
subscription to our website. However so far, we have had very little
success finding a Turkish SMS Micropayment provider.
For clarification:
A customer in Turkey would send an SMS "company name" to xxxxx
shortcode, which the third party would recieve, call back to our
website, for the code to access our product, then send the code back
(again via SMS) to the customer.
These services are very common throughout the world, an I'm sure they
probably are in Turkey.
We would like to find such a service in Turkey that can communicate
with us in English (preferably a website with an English translation).
We have already had offers in the past to purchase a shortcode
ourselves, however this can be quite expensive. Most services will
offer the use of a "shared shortcode" which will often involve SMS
sent in the form of "companyname" to XXXXX shortcode. |

Hi pikotech1,
Phew, tough search! Given that exactly what you are looking for may
not exist for Turkey, I think Click2Pay may be an interesting solution
for you. Please let me know what you think.
Click2Pay

providing all necessary tools for simple and safe micropayment - for
all businesses, from music downloads, to online retail sales, media

Thanks Hummer,
Actually we also run an SEO company. We too realise just how hard a
search this is (and the end result may not infact come from a search
engine).
We really do need an shared SMS shortcode, in Turkey.
I am grateful for your suggestions (read click2pay) however they don't
offer the same functionality, nor does their solution resolve my
original problem/question.
We may however consider purchasing rental of a shortcode in Turkey if
the price is right (ie less than 250 or so euro's per month). If that
also includes easy integration to our exiting website(s).
Maybe that's something for you to look at also.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I may
point out now, if someone finds the ideal solution, there will be a
fairly generous tip.
As a sidenote, someone who is looking to answer this question might
well be advised to find out who TV such as MTV, etc run their own SMS
micropayments (or premium text messages), it may well be some of these
companies also share shortcodes with others.

Hi pikotech1,
As you can see, I haven't given up but after spending more hours on
this than I care to admit, I don't feel like I'm any closer to an
answer than I was when I started (what feels like ages ago). I
thought I'd post what meager info I've managed to collect so far in
case something clicks for you, but I'm sure you've already "been there
done that".
