I recorded a tv show onto a dvr. The dvr does not have a built in
Hard drive. I recorded the tv show directly to a dvdrw. When i try
to play the dvdrw disc on my computer dvd player it doesnt work, i get
an error that says "video overlay" incorrect. Anyways, on the dvdrw
disc there is a video_ts and a video_rm file.

My question is simple- what do i need to do to get this dvdrw to work
on any dvd player? pleaes provide the simple most easiest resolution,
i dont have much time to waste.

You should backup all data from the disk, then re-burn it as a "Video DVD".
