"Overall personal computer ownership rates continue to grow,
increasing by 3% from March 2004 to December 2004. According to
CyberTRENDS, significant ownership increases were noted among women
(4%), individuals between 55 and 64 years of age (9%), and in
households with an income under $20,000 (7%).
Income continues to be a determining factor in computer ownership. In
December 2004, 93% of households with an income over $80,000 owned
computers while 47% of households with an income under $20,000 owned
computers."
