Question ID: 764792
How is it legal/possible to build a 2' solid fill 8" cmu parapet and
roof ontop of an offset metal chimney or offset brick chimney in NYC?
Or if it not possible? (Have photo to email on this construction) Do
not believe you can place a roof and a parapet on top of a 30 degree
offset chimney due to load factors and moreover fire code issues in
NYC. Would like to get answer with specific NYC DOB code references
that support any answer.
