Under Windows XP's Windows Explorer I mapped a network drive to a
share on a Linux-based Samba server. When prompted for the username
and password I checked the option to remember the password. I would
now like for Explorer to forget this password but can't seem to figure
out how it can be done.

Hi deyoung,

Have you deleted the mapped drive and then recreated it?

That should remove the password.

Let me know if this works for you as an answer.

Deleting the network drive and re-adding it results in the password
still being remembered.
