Question ID: 764968
How many businesses have loans or lines of credit of between $50,000
and $50 million?

I am looking for the number of companies that have loans or lines of
credit of between $50,000 and $50 million? I would like this total
divided by size of loan, by jurisdiction (e.g., US, Canada, European
community, etc) and by type of lender (e.g., bank, VC, insurance
company, etc). I need reference sources for all the details.

I need an answer very quickly and am not willing to set the time limit at one month.

I need the information as soon as possible and am willing to pay extra
for a good answer this week. The deadline is two weeks.

Looks like I will have to be content to wait for an answer.

georgefarkas-ga,

I'm reasonably familiar with information sources on corporate
finances, but I know of no source of data that comes close to
answering your question, even within a single country, much less for
around the world.

Besides, a large company would have multiple loans and lines of credit
to its name, of various sizes, greatly compounding the difficulty of
your question.

May I suggest that -- whatever your aim in asking for this information
-- you consider some other means of meeting your goals. I doubt this
info is available.

Just my 2 cents.

I too know of no single source that would give an answer. Which is
why i am offering the maximum compensation. The sources that could
provide help in giving partial answers would be banking regulators,
government or international statistical agencies and finance
researchers (possibly in universities).

I would be happy even with answers only for the US and Canada although
I also need the information for the European community.

Further to my previous clarification, I am hoping that the researcher
can get access to some of these sources to put together an answer. A
researcher who can find his way sround these sources should be adle to
piece together a reseanable answer.
