I have a large ink drawing of a bull elephant.  It is signed in pencil
by Mary Beth Atkinson and is copyrighted in 1977.  I would like to
know something about Mary Beth and the drawing.

I could not verify for certian that I found the correct Mary Beth
Atkinson as she is evidently not doing wildlife drawings any more.  Do
you know if the drawing was purchased in Florida?  If so, I think I
have found your artist.  This Mary Beth Atkinson would have been young
in 1977 but did evidently win awards for her drawings in competitions
in Florida.

I searched on google, metacrawler, and altavista and this site is the
only one that came up for this name.  I had no luck trying to find
elephant drawings or wildlife drawings by an artist of this name.  I
even tried ebay to see if anyone was selling any of her art but no
luck.

Please let me know, I'm very curious to know if they are.  On a hunch
that she may have married and changed her name, I searched on "mary
beth" "bull elephant"

I also checked the US copyright records, but found no paintings
officially registered to any Mary Beth Atkinson.
