What kind of snakes? Most snakes are a boon to have around, since they
keep the rodent population under control.

RE thetypes of snakes vary from the nonvenemous snakes to dark
skinned ones which are poisonous.Personally I do not know their names
but I am informed that the dark skinned snakes are vipers.
Secondly, althougb snakes feed on rodents the also feed on household
birds especially poultry which in rural areas are the main source of
proteins for villagers. In that sence snakes are not welcomed in rural
areas.
