I'm looking for examples of DSL-/Cable-Broadband-providers that have
launched offers bundling DSL access/ DSL tariffs with
non-telecommunications products. Cases from all over the world
would be interesting. Please provide a detailed description of the
offering and point out the companies involved. Minimum of 2 examples
would be expected.

To give an example: BT in UK offers DSL + Playstation or DSL
+ Access to Gaming Platform. You could also imagine that you get a
free or discount-subscription of a newspaper or a shopping voucher.
The aim is either to create special packages suited for a certain
target group (e.g. for the BT case: gamers) or just to promote sales.

Marty79,

Would one hundred free digital music downloads count?

Would a free trial to a video download service be a good example?

Hi Bobbie7,

thanks for your questions.
Acutally these are not the kind of products, I'm looking for, because
it's too close to the DSL/BB-providers' own business (I could imagine
that the video downloads are offered in the context of new Triple Play
services - voice, data, entertainment). The "other product" should not
be offered by the telco company itself and really be apart from
traditional telco or Triple Play services. For ex.: Deutsche Telekom's
ISP (T-Online) offers "Musicload" (where you can download music) and
DSL. A bundle would be obvious(however there not doing it). Such an
example would not count.
