Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic, i.e. not of Czechoslovakia.

Republic and Slovakia"

Hi Shoaib,
You'll have to decide for yourself:

http://www.budapestinfo.hu/en/things_to_see
http://www.prague.cz/sight.asp
http://www.virtourist.com/europe/bucharest/

Most tourists are more interested in the old, historical features of
these cities, which they consider to be attractive. The modern areas
and buildings in European cities are much like those anywhere else in
the world, that is, not of special interest to most foreigners.
Budapest has the oldest subway system on the Continent.

Cheers, Myoarin

I believe explaining your motivation for wanting to know is important.

Live? Work? Tourism? Paper?

By modern do you mean architecture, public services, healthcare,
wireless technologies, political system?

I can give much info about Budapest and Prague from my travels there.
You just need to be a little more specific in the what's and why's
that you want it.

Afrocheese commenter in response to your above comment please note
that by modern and beautiful cities above I want to know that Prague
and Budapest cities are modern and beautiful cities according to the
new trends of modernization and new trends of beauty and please note
that 'everything' should be considered for answer of above purpose so
that I should be convinced that those cities are modern and beautiful
cities of the world and great thanks for that help from me or Shoaib.
