Do all that Gg0551 suggests and you might grow 0.5 inches before you start to shrink from old age. Jack, get used to your height. Wearing small lifts and heels will get you another inch without looking strange. A high coif will help a little, too. But there is nothing wrong with your height. Finish your degree work and do well at your chosen career, become proficient and expert at what you do, deal fairly and honestly with your peers, and you will soon be in charge of more able, more intelligent, less ambitious people. And they will look up to you. |

I believe in China many men share this problem with you. What they have done is have their shins extended. This process takes much time and even more pain. The results is obvious; with some gaining several inches. However, there are side effects. For one, it would be rather difficult to partake in strenuous physical activities, i.e. running, futbol/soccer, football.... I don't know how willing you are to give up time and money and importantly, your lifestyle for a couple more inches. In the meantime, markvmd-ga made an excellent point: "Finish your degree work and do well..." |

The probablity is zero. By the time you are 23, your growth plates on the bones of your body have closed. They do not lengthen anymore. Therefore your height will NOT increase anymore. Your height may fluctuate during the day, because of the hydration state of your intervertebral disks on your spine. You are tallest in the morning, when you get out of bed, and havent had gravity pushing your disks down. There are ways around it, namely, surgery. This involves breaking the bone on your shin, then slowly expanding the cartilginous callus that forms. Its very painful but it works. It WILL NOT make you a basetball player. At most it expands your height 3-6 inches. As the bard said. " the fault dear Brutus lies not in the stars but in ourselves". I suspect your insecurity about your height has to do with more than just your height. Address this, and you will be happy, no matter how tall you are. |
