Hello Dannycaulfield,

According to the report ?Population Representation in the Military
Services,? 9 percent of first-time enlisted recruits are married and
by the end of the first term of service (4years) approximately 42% are
married.

?Although only 9 percent of first-time enlisted recruits are married,
a large percentage of enlisted Service members are (49 percent). By
the end of the first term of service (typically four years),
approximately 42 percent of male enlisted members have become
married.?
