Is there a site that will ask me a number of questions so I can get a
reasonable idea of what my car is worth?
Example of questions: Mileage (km or miles), general usage, climate
used in, condition (inside/outside), make/model/trim, original cost,
etc...
This site cannot be affiliated with any dealership or manufacturer, it
MUST be independent consumer orientated.
Bonus for tip: Difference in trade-in value vs. selling private. Is it
better to trade-in with similiar dealership or does it matter? |

frodo2366-ga,
The Commenters have all given you excellent resources. I've personally
used 3 of those services myself, they are exactly what you have asked
for. You're not going to get better suggestions from an authorized
Researcher. Close the question and call it a day!

Not that it's much, but you can save the $5.00.
You *may* get more suggestions, but when I read the list to see if I
could add my suggestions, all the best sites were already listed by
the commenters.
Kelly Bluebook and the NADA Guide are particularly useful and give
detailed information. Having worked in car sales briefly, I don't
think the dealer matters, trade it in at whatever place will give you
the best value, or better yet, sell it privately and take cash to the
dealer.
There's really nothing an official Researcher can add to the
suggestions to flesh out an answer for you, except give you even more
options, but as I said, all the best sites are already listed.
Have you explored the links provided?
