Lot's of folks want the recipe! It's proprietary and they're not
telling. That's what makes their pies so good, no one else knows how
to make it.

I looked at several "Secret Recipe" and "Copycat Recipe" sites like
the one below, no lucck, Sorry!

Found this nugget:
http://kenny.solarvelocity.com/Page2249.aspx

..."In 1992, Key Lime Inc. moved into its Windy Hill location in
Smyrna. Today, the company produces 2,500 to 3,000 pies daily.

In the production of Kenny's Key Lime Pie, machines are used to strip
away the outer rind and extract the juices from the fresh Key limes,
shipped from the Caribbean.

The juices are then strained and tested for acidity and flavor. Large
quantities of the lime juices are then stored in one of the company's
eight refrigeration systems.

The juices are blended into a mix that makes the pie filling. Graham
cracker crumbs are used to form the crust. The end product is then
shipped to one of its 80 distribution points nationwide..."

Yes, I've read that information before as well. Spent countless hours
searching the net, reading trade articles, websites..etc. They seem to
have this pretty tight-lipped!.

I think it's some sort of cheesecake variation, or sour cream,
something along those lines. One thing is for sure, it's not
traditional key lime pie.
