Question ID: 767136
Is there any free discussion group, such as Yahoo! Groups or Google
Groups who offers a lot more than 20MB for archiving files via web?

Yahoo Groups offers 20MB, which is too little considering even e-mail
accounts nowadays offer 1GB+; Google Groups doesn't seem to limit
attachments based on size, but offers no way to upload files to a
web-only section, such as Yahoo Groups Archives.

I have an e-group of my college classmates, at around 200+ users, and
we share lots of e-mails daily, with attachments, and we need a lot
more web space for free for our e-group.

Is there any such wonder??

In other words, the e-group I'm looking for:

- must be free;
- must be able to handle 300+ e-mail users;
- must allow receiving and sending individual e-mails, from/to members;
- must allow sending e-mail attachments (preferably of at least 1MB
per e-mail or more);
- must allow moderation tools (such as approving memberships, banning
users, managing archive files, sorting them in folders, etc.);
- must allow storing files in a web section, such as Yahoo Archives,
without size limitations, or having a limitation substantially greater
than 20MB (preferably 100MB+) per group, or 5MB (preferably 20MB+) per
user.

Try setting up a usenet binary group.
