Question ID: 767225
I have a research proposal due tomorrow. I have found a new, unknown
pool of neurons in the brains of mice, and I would like to find out
more about their structure and the proteins they express.

Could any researchers out there assist me in making up and outline a
specific physiological research question investigating some aspect of
the structure and / or protein expression patterns of these neurons,
and a detailed description of the specific methods you would use,
involving confocal microscopy, to answer that (abovementioned)
question.

An appropriate level of detail would specify the fluorochromes to be used.
Also I?d like to know why confocal microscopy is more appropriate for
answering the previous mentioned question than light or
epifluorescence microscopy. Also, discuss any potential problems that
might affect your proposed experiments.

I would really appreciate any feedback from the researchers out there.

I would appreciate to have an answer *as soon as possible*, or the
latest by Thursday 10am Pacific Time. Generous tip will be offered for
anyone who can give me the quick and best insight on this matter.

Cheers and have a great day!

Deadline extended to Thursday 3.00pm Pacific Time (PST).

Generous tip will be awarded for creativeness, complexity and realism
of the research question. I would like to draw on a few references (so
that I will be
able to check and verify that material has already been published by a
reliable source), which can come from a variety of sources: mainly
academic journal articles and books, but also reports or other
electronic sources.

Cheers!
