I am thinking of doing some business development work for a start up
that has tried unsuccessfully to raise money at a $10M valuation. I
think they are closer to $3-4M. I will also be on thier board. The
actual work will be limited to 90 days or so, part time. All expenses
will be reimbursed. I do not need cash flow, but am interested in
helping launch this company and then stay on the board. What % of
company or "value of stock" should I ask for. I would value my work as
a consultant to them at $75 to $100K if paid in cash, but want stock
and value for being on board of Driectors
