Doing Market Research and need to know all start up costs associated
with buying an Action International franchise. There may be several
levels of franchisee - if so please include a breakdown of costs by
level. "Master Licensee" is one such level.I am especially interested
in any hidden costs. The International Coach Federation could be a
source of referrals to bulletin boards or chat
rooms.(www.coachfederation.org).

Action International is based in Australia, owned by Brad Sugars,
operates internationally.Website is www.action-international.com - but
they do not publish this information on the website.

FYI, I am also publishing another question related to this company.

cjmar728-ga,

There isn't very much detailed financial information on Action
International in the open literature. Their 10-day training course
costs in the tens of thousands of dollars, while a Master License can
go for hundreds of thousands.

The most detailed information available will likely come from the
numerous court cases in the US that have been taken against AI. Some
(not all) of these case materials are available online through
electronic docket systems.

For instance, one 2005 case (involving events around 2003), mentions figures like:

--profits of $180,000 a year
--$1,000 per month royalties from coaches
--A Master License fee of $165,000 down payment, with a balance due of $415,000.

There are also cost items such as these AI products for sale:

I can post some links to assorted case documents from the one case
I've looked at thus far, as a way of answering your question.

Be forewarned, though, that the documents are quite a mixed bag...some
very in-depth and revealing nuggests of information about the inner
workings of AI, but these must be extracted from the tons of legal
dross that typify courtroom materials.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks for the response.

At the same link I provided earlier:

you'll find five recently posted files on Action International, all
from the court case I mentioned.

I think you'll find them quite interesting.

Let me know if there's anything else you need on this.
