Hi,I have been collecting the 'earlier hand thrown' type of this
pottery for some time now and in my experience prolonged exposure to
sunlight would indeed damage the colours resulting in significant
fading. I have seen the odd pot about that takes on a kind of
'negative' hue (think in terms of a faded negative of a
photograph)with some areas of design colour almost totally
'disappeared'...though others may disagree and argue this is caused by
other elements. That all said I have had most of my collection sat on
various window ledges around the house since first collecting these
some 15+ years ago. If you send me your address to seuzy58@aol.com
i'll forward some images of my collection.

Regards,

Sue
