I'm a 41 y/o with adult acne.  I seem to get flareups at very unusual
times, not necessarily related to my menstrual cycle. Could there be a
relationship btwn the occasional use of xanax and acnes flare-ups. 
(esp on cheeks,jawline and neck)

If you are taking Xanax for anxiety, it's possible that the anxiety
may be the cause of your acne flare-ups.

stress and anxiety can worsen acne, my friends and I always have
flare-ups before and during finals.
I use xanax too but it doesn't affect my acne, in fact there were
times when i was taking xanax and was completely acne free!
