In what terms are you talking about security.
Internet is vast concept includes lots of servers ,devices, web sites.
Pls clarify.

There is no safe way to network computers so this question has no
right anwser. If you are running windows... update your system get a
firewall, Do not download and make sure to have anti-virus &
Anti-spyware installed. The safest way to sure the internet is with a
Linux Live CD it just runs from the computers RAM and CD-Rom so
nothing is saved on your computers hard drive.
