During the Vietnam War, property was taken away from property owners
by the Communists.

How do owners reclaim their property today? What is the process and
costs involved? Who do you have to correspond with (Contacts)?

Do you have reason to believe there is such a process?

Or are you hoping to learn if such a process exists (and if so...and
if we find that there is no such process...would that be acceptable as
an answer?).

Was this a private property? Yes, the building was taken away from my
family during the Vietnam War by the Communists. The building was a
mix-use building: residential and business use.

Have you repatriated to Vietnam? My family came to the US during the
Vietnam War. My immediate family have obtained US citizenship status
and now consider the US our home.

Were you ever declared an Enemy of the State? No

Did you ever formally renounce your Vietnam Citizenship? My parents
and I became US citizens. How do we confirm if we renounced our
Vietnam Citizenship? We are uncertain about this question.

Is the property in question held by the current government or is it
already in other private hands? My parents believe it is held by the
current government. Is there a way to confirm?

Thanks for the real good clarification questions. Please let me know
what else you need.
