Question ID: 768419
What is the specific tie in (person, place, thing, event, etc.) from
Stephen King's novella "The Mist" from his book "Skeleton Crew" to the
"Dark Tower" series? I have read each of these completely and
numerously, as well as the Dark Tower Concordance I & II and still
fail to see the tie in. Most other books referenced as a tie in to
this series have a charachter, place, or event that is a specific or
blatantly implied tie in to the "Dark Tower" series.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

How about this:

The mist is a type of "thinny," an interdimensional weak spot. The
horrible creatures are coming through from some other world.

I have seen that 'guess' before on a message board regarding the
thinny...but, if you would look at all the other tie in books, they
fit the picture and the storyline directly in an overt way...I would
like to see someone find a charachter tie in or a more direct
relationship, like perhaps the Arrowhead Project being owned by the
North Central Positronics, etc...

With that in mind I would like to keep this question open.
