I received a number of text messages on my mobile phone from a number
that I don't know over the last couple of days.  I have responded to
the number and they won't respond to me.  Is there a preferably free
or relatively cheap method of finding out who the mobile number
belongs to.

I searched for some resources and all of the sites were too expensive
for just one number starting at around 25.00 and a mandatory
membership...I would like to avoid this fee if possible
