Question ID: 769006
I am looking for average household income data by zip code for the
past 50 years. The data should be available on a continuous basis
(i.e., every year), so the census data is not sufficient. A
satisfactory answer should include one of the following:

1 - The data itself (i.e., a website, government agency, etc.)
2 - A reseller of this information with a quote/price
3 - Data that may serve as a proxy and is readily available (e.g.,
home prices), with source

I guess that would be very hard since today's zip codes were not in
use 50 years ago. They were introduced in 1963, and I doubt that they
were the basis for statistics from the first day of their existence.

Since I learned zip codes were only introduced in 1963, I would like
information dating back to the earliest time such statistics are
available, for a minimum of 30 years.
