Need statistics showing the safety record and practices of US
forestry's practice of using "controlled burns".  Looking for the
numbers showing on a region by region basis the following: methods
used, statistics (surface burnt, type, duration, surface of
out-of-control burn), historical track record of number of burns
performed, when, a record with details, statistics and percentage of
burns that get out of control, a break down of the reasons for the
loss of control, the dollar amount of damages caused, number of
injuried and/or lives lost (human and animal), techniques used,
techniques that lead to loss of control, etc...
