Question ID: 769450
I have IBM Thinkpad Laptop (more specific IBM R52). It has inbuilt
bluetooth. I am looking for a wireless headset so that I can use it
for talking and listening. I currently use a normal headset with mic
connected by cable to the USB port on my laptop.
I am not sure whether bluetooth headset (like Nokia, Motorola etc )
are compatible or not. To solve this problem I need if someone can
answer the following things:-

1. First of all is it possible or not to connect bluetooth headset to
bluetooth IBM laptop
2. If yes then which bluetooth head set to buy. (something in nokia preferable)
3. Instruction on how to configure and get started. (dont need to be
very specific, just getting started with configuration.)
4. Will I need any specific drivers etc.
Thanks,
Saurabh

Yes.

2. If yes then which bluetooth head set to buy. (something in nokia preferable)
This website http://www.cyprus-pc.com/cyprus_pc_v2/front-end/main.php?action=productdetails&page=productdetails&design=default&prod_id=535&PHPSESSID=873311da7b19644070156cabdc26d68a
sells your laptop with a headset. After some research I found that
this is infact a cell phone headset, thus it is likely a quality nokia
one would also work.

3. Instruction on how to configure and get started. (dont need to be
very specific, just getting started with configuration.)
The software/drivers you download should come with a configuration
utility that is relatively easy to use. The headset may come with a
CD.

4. Will I need any specific drivers etc.
