What are the best shops to buy a sofa in the Bay Area? I am looking
for a European design sofa (Italian?), with either natural textile
(cotton?) covering or leather. Price range is below $3000. Requirement
is for the shop to have the sofa exposed (so no catalog orders).
Nicoletti (http://www.nicolettiitalia.com/) is one brand I was
thinking about, but does not have to be. Thanks!

Not working with a designer, so no access to any special showrooms.
Have looked in Russels, Ethan Allen, and some cheap shops in
Sunnyvale.

You may want to consider raising the price of your question. For $2,
you can expect five or maybe ten minutes of a Researcher's time and a
link or two. Considering the amount that you're considering spending,
I would think you'd benefit from an answer that took a bit more time
and research.
