I'm looking for a couple of pieces of information:
1) How often does the average car need service? (repairs and
scheduled maintenance) (answer should be in terms of "x times per
year")
2) What is the nationwide density of auto repair facilities, in terms
of facilities per 1,000 people?
Each answer would be worth $10 to me. And I have a bonus question
that could bring the total up to $30:
3)how many auto repair facilities are there in Loudoun County, Virginia?
But in order to get credit for answering #3 you must answer #2,
otherwise I can't really use the information.
Thanks and good luck. |

I've raised the amount I'm willing to pay to $15 for each of the three
questions, or $45.00 total. Question 2 must be answered to receive
credit for a question 3 answer.

Hello Chanelops,
I can provide you with
- the number of general automotive repair establishments in the United States.
- the number of general automotive repair establishments in Virginia.
Regarding your first question, generally, your car should be serviced
every six months.
Would these figures be of your interest?
Thanks,
Bobbie7

Hi Bobbie7,
I was able to find the very specific answers I needed to questions 2&
3 on my own, so I'm going to cancel the request. In any case, your
proposed answers would not have satisfied my need, but thanks for your
efforts.
P.S. By the way, I found out the census bureau economic census (2002)
has all the info to answer questions 2 & 3, including my specific
"by-county" request.
