Slamminsam-ga may well be right that venous leak should be treated
with surgery. I myself am not a doctor, only a researcher, so I can't
give medical advice. If you have this condition, you should see a
doctor -- in particular, a specialist in men's health -- to determine
the best treatment for you. Only a doctor can evaluate your medical
condition and provide a complete explanation of the treatment options
available in your situation. (For example, the treatment might
conceivably depend on the severity of the venous leakage or other
factors specific to you, such as your age.)

That being said, I suppose that it is wise to gain information on
potential treatments, so that you can ask a doctor about these
possibilities.

I have found three products that the manufacturers claim to be
appropriate for venous leak. All appear to be in the category of
venous "constriction rings" (sometimes called "constrictive rings").

One is called Actis, and is produced by Vivus, Inc. Another is the
Rejoyn Support Sleeve System, by Gain Inc. d/b/a American MedTech.
Finally, there is the StayErec System, by Timm Medical Technologies,
Inc.

The following pages describe these products:

"Actis"

"The Rejoyn Support Sleeve System" [including links at bottom of page]

Again, because I am not a doctor, I cannot provide a professional
opinion on these devices. But I suppose that it's useful to know that
these products are out there.

No. I am in that field. You need surgery. I would have a prosthesis
if I were you.

All the rings mentioned may work. Buyt they are very painful. Very
few people use them long term or regularly. That has been my
experience. You may try it a few times, but it will then sit in your
drawer.

Does anyone out there, either a medical professional or a user of
these products, have further information on what slamminsam has
indicated? Of course, nothing on Google Answers can be definitive
medical advice, but the information might be useful to will7898.
