I would like to do a long weekend trip to the Norwegian fjords, from
October 20th to 23rd. My flight options are either Bergen, or
Haugesund.

What can i expect the weather to be like in this region of the Fjords
at this time of year? I know that Bergen itself is the rain capital of
Europe, and also that many of the hotels i have looked at in the
region close from October onwards which seems ominous.

Would i be ill advised to visit anywhere in this region at this time
of year? Are there any parts that would be my 'best bet' weather wise?

Im afraid thats not really what im looking for as i wont be spending
time in either of those places themselves.

However if you could provide that sort of data for any of the towns in
the region of the Sognefjord then that would be useful.
