Note: this is the 4th duplicate (5th version)of my question, and it is
reposted because all the four previous duplicates are closed
unanswered (the original has been closed by me, googel-ga).

The researcher, please be informed that the following e-mail is sent
by me to
answers-editors@google.com:
"Answers-editors@google.com, please keep (do not delete) this e-mail
until the eventual researcher of my question will ask it from you,
since the body of my posted Google-question informs the researcher
about its existence.

The subject line of this e-mail, addressed to
answers-editors@google.com, contains:
googel-ga5 .
The following URL is sent to you -- answers-editors@google.com --
to avoid all advertising in my question, and it is the URL of the
floss holder product the eventual researcher will need in order to be
able to answer my question entitled
'easy question re. new product (photos provided) / 5', and the URL is:

".

I have a web-page showing instructions (i.e. only pictures) how to
use a patented dental floss holder (tensioner), its URL address is
obtainable as explained above.

This floss holder is good for about 250 all-teeth
flossing sessions, then it can break.
I am asking answers to at least the first of the following questions:
1. Is it clear from this web-page how to use this product, and how
many minutes have you (the researcher) spent on it?
2. Can you (the researcher) see any use of this product for yourself?
3. Can you (the researcher) see any use of this product for others and
for who?
4. Would it make sense to offer/attach this floss
holder --free (its price minimal and embedded already in the floss
package's price) -- with every purchasing of a floss package ?
5. Are you (the researcher) flossing regularily now?
6. Are you (the researcher) using a floss holder now?
7. Can you comment/advise here re. the product, web-page?

Please answer at least question 1?
Thank you.

Hi, googel !

1. I do understand how to use the product, but only because I've tried
a similar product. I feel a photo of someone using the product would
clarify this a lot. I also feel that the notches into which the floss
fits are not shown clearly enough. It took me about five minutes to
work it our properly, and that's probably too long for the average
customer.

2. I'm not likely to use this product for myself, because my teeth are
set so closely together that any brand of floss I've used shreds, and
sticks between my teeth. I also have arthritis in my hands which would
make tying the knots difficult.

3. Sure, I think it could be useful for other people. Most flosses are
difficult to hold and also cut into your hand when held firmly, so an
alternative holder is a good idea.

4. Offering it "free" with a floss package seems a really good idea -
that's how I came to buy the one I tried out.

5. & 6. See my second comment - I need a brand of floss which won't
jam in my teeth, and I haven't found one yet.

7. The pictures themselves are clear, but I feel the picture for each
stage should be separate and with comments e.g.

"Stage 4: pull the moving arm up at right-angles to the flosser and
put the loop of the floss around it."

I wonder also if you mean "discreet" (as in "not very obvious") rather
than "discrete" ("separate, discontinuous") and I feel the last
sentence might read better if you wrote "When the floss is wound, as
shown in the seven-stage photos, no knots are needed."

Like tlspiegel-ga I'm put off by the geocities hosting.

Good luck.

Hello angy-ga,

I am very satisfied with your answers, and thank you very much for it.
I think i will take most of your suggestions.
I have doubts only about your

since it could add too many confusing lines and "frightening" text.

Thank you very much again.

Thank you, googel, I'm glad you found my answer useful. Maybe arrows
to show the movement would help, if you don't want too much text?

You will need to post your URL in your message. Messages get posted
automatically by Google Answers' software; your e-mail is going to a
different place, and a human would have to intervene to get the URL
into the message. Since you are asking for an evaluation, which cannot
be provided without knowing the URL of the item to be evaluated, it
will not be considered advertising for you to include it in your
question (numerous people have posted similar questions). Just go out
to your account and post a "clarification" which includes the URL.

Thanks!

1. Is it clear from this web-page how to use this product, and how
many minutes have you (the researcher) spent on it?
It is not clear how to use the product. The pictures are large
enough but there is no explanation. I'm confused.

2. Can you (the researcher) see any use of this product for yourself?
Probably not, because I tear off a strip of floss and floss without
anything attached to the floss strip. No floss holders for me.

3. Can you (the researcher) see any use of this product for others and
for who?
  I cannot answer for others.

4. Would it make sense to offer/attach this floss holder --free (its
price minimal and embedded already in the floss package's price) --
with every purchasing of a floss package ?
Not sure what you mean, but anything free is usually a good thing!

5. Are you (the researcher) flossing regularily now?
   Of course. After every meal.

6. Are you (the researcher) using a floss holder now?
   No.

7. Can you comment/advise here re. the product, web-page?
At this time your site is still in the construction phase... and
you are being hosted by Geocities. I don't like having to close links
to sites like Geocities in order to view an entire page. But that's
just my opinion.

googel...

Have you seen this already-existing product,
which is quite convenient, and, though not
flat, very pocketable? :

Ready for some BAD news?

Don't get tooooo excited about this product affording you an early
retirement.

I use the similar designs which are "pre-strung" and in those
instances
when I desire a little less tension, for access to curved tooth areas,
I simply
compress the assembly at the tips of the U-shaped device.

Simpler is always better and this gizmo will never get off the
ground. Less than 1% of patented items ever generate any income.

Ready for good news?
this product is much stronger re. the U-shape and resists alot of
pressure.
If you really want to destroy it then you can damage it. In those
instances you are complaining about this product behaves v.fine.
But, succeeding with it is adifferent problem, as you said.
It is the simplest, though, among the satisfactory products for me.
