I've been searching for specifications for Cincinnati Machine Fibre placement systems and automatic tape layers and haven't been able to find them anywhere on the web. Could someone dig up the specifications for the latest fibre placement and tape laying machines from Cincinnati. The fibre placement systems go under the name "Viper 1200", "Viper 3000" and the "Viper 6000". The latest tape layer is the V5. Point of interest the Viper 6000 is used to make the fuselage sections for the Boeing 787. The specs. should include information like x, y and z axis speeds and stroke distances, A and C axis tilting/rotation speeds and limits. They should also include tape widths for the tape layer and number of tows for the Viper fibre placement systems. |
