I am looking for studies that would provide global summary statistics
about credit card usage.

The statistics should cover at least Brasil, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, China,
India, Indonesia, US and European statistics.

Key facts that I am looking for are number of credit cards in use,
average purchase with credit card, total credit debt, average interest
rate.

The data should not be older than two years.

Example of this kind of studies is
http://www.strategyr.com/GOS.ASP?CODE=GOS-042
However, based on its contents it doesn't seem to provide all the data
I was looking for so I would like to find also other similar studies.

Datamonitor (http://www.datamonitor.com/) seems to provide North
American and Western European Cards databases but I couldn't find
global summary.

If you find statistics that can be downloaded free from internet you
will receive a hefty tip.
(Good places to look for this kind of free data might be e.g. BIS,
World Bank, IMF or some other similar organisation.)
