Looking for background information on Dead Lake in Ottertail County,
Minnesota. I'm creating a brochure promoting the lake. Also interested
in the Dead Lake Wildlife Management Area, including the benefits and
usages. Final product will be quick facts and summaries, but I'm happy
to go through the material you find to get what I want.

I can provide you with online and offline "sources" for the
information if this is acceptible. You will be able to visit each
source online or contact them off the web for details about the lake
and the surrounding area. Is this ok?

Yes, that's fine. I'm hoping for more than DNR sources.

Does that mean you're not working on it?

reranski-ga,

tutuzdad may well be working on your question, but his remark makes it
clear that he's left it open for other researchers to have a look as
well.

I'm not sure just what you're looking for, but there are HUGE amounts
of information on Dead Lake available in these environmental impact
reviews (which are HUGE documents):

They'll take you right down to the number of boats on the lake, and
the type of boats in use, and so on...

Possibly, way more than you wanted to know. Are these on target? If
not, please clarify what sort of materials you're seeking.

I'm afraid not. I'm working with the developer who filed the EIS. This
is my first Answers attempt and I think it's probably not the best use
of the service. I'm going to cancel the question. Thanks for trying.
