I'm 22 years old and I have completed about 65 percent of my Associate
of Arts degree in Miami Dade College and I completed a 9-month
Computer Repair Technician program from Florida Career College. I feel
that I have
wasted a lot of time therefore I'm really interested in attending
University of Phoenix (South Florida Campus) because they offered to
accept most of my credits that I have from other schools and they
offer an accelerated program which will allow me to get a degree in
less time than a traditional school. However, before i do, I have
several questions: Once I get my bachelors degree in Information
Technology(I'm not sure if that's the exact name of the degree), would
I be able to transfer to Florida International University (I have been
to Florida International University and spoke with the director of
graduate admissions personally as well as the head of the Computer
Information Systems department and they were not able tell me whether
or not they would accept me in FIU from University of Phoenix) to work
on
my Masters Degree? If not, what are some schools that I can transfer
to in order to get a Masters Degree?

I'm planning on attending Devry University to get a bachelors degree
in Technical Management. Would I be able to transfer this degree to a
traditional university like Florida International University since
Devry University is not traditional? What other universities would I
be able to transfer to with a degree from devry.

Johns Hopkins University requires a fee of a couple of hundred dollars
per course to transfer in UoP credits. I do not know if this is the
same for all transfers at JHU or if other schools do it, but one of my
clients was griping about it recently.

Just one example of what could happen.
