IŽd like to check for concepts related to technology that could be
linked to the word "vista". Companies with "vista" on the name or an
etymologic study of the word could be a good start. Also, if possible
IŽd like to check .com web addresses available related to the word
vista, maybe includding as suffix or prefix the words "tech",
"studio", "digital".

mpc2000-ga,

I consulted a number of sources, including keyword (search) frequency
lists, geographic directories, domain name suggestion tools, and the
good old thesaurus, all in search of inspirations regarding the term
'vista'.

Here are some of the more common searches involving 'vista', which may
ring some creative bells:

vista window

buena vista social club

chula vista

sierra vista

bella vista

beta vista

monte vista

playa vista

rio vista

hasta la vista

point vista

monta vista

As you can see, many of the terms are place names, and in fact, there
are hundreds of places around the world with Vista in the name...a
fact that makes it hard for any one place (or company) to claim
intellectual-property ownership of the word. Here are some with a
particularly nice ring:

Aero Vista

Alegre Vista

Alta Vista

Aqua Vista

Azure Vista

Bayou Vista

Bela Vista

Blue Vista

Bona Vista

Canyon Vista

del Vists

Dell Vista (an ironic name, at least in the computer world)

El Vista

Flora Vista

Grand Vista

Kilo-Vista

Lago Vista

Laguna Vista

Largo Vista

Linda Vista

Loma Vista

Mono Vista

Mundo Vista

Nisqually Vista

Rancho Rio Vista

Rancho Vista

Rock Run Vista (I particularly like this one...a good solid name.
And RockRunVista.com appears to be available)

Sharp Top Vista (Another good one)

Sunrise Vista

Sunset Vista

Valle Vista

Villa Vista

Vista Acres

Vista Creek

Vista Del Monte

Vista Flores

Vista Granda

Vista Gulch

Vista Point

Vista Village

and lest we forget...

Vista West Trailer Park

The thesaurus and dictionary give us a few related words, though only
'panorama' has the sense of authority to it that comes with
'vista'...at least to my ear:

vista

scene

view

scenic

panorama

panoramic

Of course, all the good dot.com names with Vista in them are spoken
for...VistaTech.com is out, and so is DigitalPanorama.com.

But it's easy to play around with name suggestion tools (link is
below) to drum up some possibilities, such as:

VistaTechWorld

VistaTechDirect.com

PlayaVistaTech.com

VistaTechnologyWorld.com

VistaViewDirect.com

VistaWindowWorld.com

VistaWindowOnline.com

VistaWindowDirect.com

TheVistaWindow.com

PlayaVistaWindow.com

SierraVistaWindow.com

and like I said, RockRunVista.com is also available.

A few vista domain names are up for sale, and I thought you might be
interested in seeing the asking price for some of them:

WorldsVista.com $75.00

MiniVista.com $200.00

KnowVista.com $200.00

FutureVista.com $488.00

AceVista.com $500.00

SouthernVista.com $850.00

LinkVista.com $990.00

TotalVista.com $1,200.00

VistaDigital.com $1,300.00

By the way, a great tool for exploring domain names, and generating
lists of suggestions, is the set of domain name tools at:

http://www.domaintools.com/

Just type any few words of interest in the text box e.g. [ vista tech
] as one search, or [ panorama tech ] as another, and click on
Suggestions to see a list of possible (and available) domain names.

I hope these lists and comments and resources spark some creative
possibilities for you.

However, if you feel there's more information you'd like me to provide
-- or simply different sorts of information -- just let me know with a
Request for Clarification.

These crative-spark sorts of questions can be tricky to answer, so if
I didn't hit the nail on the head the first go round, I'm happy to
give it another try. All you need do is let me know.

Best of luck,

pafalafa-ga
