Of the largest cities in the United States, which ones have elected tax assessors from multiple districts? This refers not to appointed assessors, but to elected assessors, and more than one assessor per city, each assessor representing and elected from a distinct area within that city. Please, when listing those cities, also give a reference to back up the information. |

Hmmm, election of tax assessors seems to be limit to a few states only. Texas, Tennessee, Florida are the ones that were easily identified from the few website on the subject. |

Actually, tax assessors are elected in Illinois, New York, and multiple other states. I am hoping that someone who really knows sites dealing with local government issues will guide me to a chart listing data for the largest cities |
