An associate of mine many years ago retired from his job but then
picked up a job where he traveled to various manufacturing location to
conduct audits for the manufactures customers, primarily these were
government contracts.  He worked as an independent agent and picked up
jobs as he wanted from those that were made available by the company
or business he was associated with...I'm looking for company (or
similar companies) that he may have worked for.  The audits he
conducted were technical in nature. For instance I first learned of
this job from my associate when he audited where I worked and talked
to him.  We manufactured integrated circuits.
