I just recently bought 20 acres and was interested in generating a
detailed map of  the land. I most definitely do not mind walking the
property with a GPS to get detailed data.
Ideally I need a solution that would allow me to plug in GPS data and
then generate a custom map of about 20 acres so I can plan how I am
going to start doing terraforming to suit my needs.
Is there such a solution for this, open source preferably? I would
prefer to not spend money on ESRI's package
