I am looking for a freeware ftp synchronization program.

Requirements:
- Does not require installation.
- Does not write to the registry 
- Does not create or modify files outside of its own directory, except
when synchronizing the local and remote files.
- Is not adware, or spyware.
- Does not require the VB/MFC/.NET runtimes.
- Does not have a trial period commonly classified as shareware.

Preferably:
- A program that is 100% self-contained, requiring no installation,
registry changes, etc.
- Preferably be free, and ideally offer source code.

The closest program that I have found so far that meets almost all of
the requirements is FTP Sync.

Still working on getting it to work properly, not much documentation.

Filezilla doesn't write to the registry if you don't want it to.
It *may* create or modify files outside of its own directory (but that
is more because it'll use the current user's directory, not \Windows.)

I don't know what (to you) "does not require installation" means, but
FileZilla does install/play nice with Windows Install/Uninstaller
(Read: you can uninstall via add/remove programs), and most
applications I'd expect that you'd want that to happen.

"does not require installation" is a program that does not make
registry changes, uses relative directory associations, and only edits
files within it's own directory, for example when it needs to save a
configuration file.

However since this would be a ftp program, of course it is going to
have to read and write to it's local and remote directories.
